Professional entrance mats are an effective solution for keeping busy environments cleaner, safer and more comfortable. Installed in access areas, they help trap dirt, dust and moisture before they are carried into the building, reducing daily floor maintenance and improving comfort for visitors and staff.
Choosing the right mat mainly depends on the installation area. Indoor environments require products with excellent absorption capabilities and easy maintenance, while outdoor areas need solutions that can quickly drain water, withstand weather conditions and stop dirt before it enters the building.
Welkom-In has been developed for reception areas, offices, corridors, schools, hospitality facilities and public spaces exposed to continuous foot traffic. Manufactured from regenerated ECONYL® polyamide yarn, it combines durability, comfort and long-lasting performance even in demanding environments.
The crush-resistant fibres help maintain a neat appearance over time, while the highly absorbent structure effectively captures moisture and dirt. The non-slip nitrile backing improves stability and can be cleaned in industrial laundries, making maintenance simple and professional.
For outdoor entrances, covered walkways and areas exposed to rain and dirt, Welkom-Ex offers a practical and efficient solution. This technical PVC mat features a special looped structure designed to promote rapid water drainage while effectively trapping dirt and debris before they reach indoor spaces.
Its open structure helps keep entrance areas safer, even during adverse weather conditions. Resistance to temperatures down to -15°C, excellent slip resistance and compliance with REACH regulations make it particularly suitable for commercial entrances, covered outdoor areas and high-traffic external walkways.
Combining an outdoor Welkom-Ex mat with an indoor Welkom-In mat creates a complete and highly effective entrance system. The outdoor mat captures most of the dirt and water before entry, while the indoor mat absorbs residual moisture and provides an additional cleaning stage.
This solution helps improve safety in access areas, reduces floor wear and contributes to maintaining cleaner, tidier and more welcoming environments throughout the day.
Welkom-In is designed for indoor environments and offers excellent absorption properties, while Welkom-Ex is intended for outdoor use and focuses on water drainage and dirt retention.
